Is the study of Humans, health and diseases, drugs and plants. It covers all things green, living and smelly! Without Biology there would be no plants, no air, no life and NO FUN!

The Science Syllabus:

We teach to the OCR Gateway Sciences resources. OCR offers a comprehensive package of accessible ever-day examples of Science in the World we live in. The students are given textbooks andf access to on-line revision resources and webpages.

This qualification identifies the activities and experiences learners will come across in everyday life, and links these to scientific ideas and their implications for society. It provides the opportunity to acquire the scientific skills, knowledge and understanding necessary for life as a citizen.

Physics

 

They have just found the Higgs Boson, we have just found dark matter in Miss Bretts room... There are so many things we still do not know...but there will be loads that you will understand when you learn the Phun Physics!

Fact of the week

 

 

The Universe is thought to be around 13.7 billion years old. Our Sun will die in around 5 billions years time, but our poor Earth just has 2.8 billion years left!
